Stalking
Kildermorie is a well-known deer forest, with the ground rising from 300 to 2,750 feet forming two beats, both of which can be stalked in almost any wind. Traditional garrons are used for bringing beasts off the hill to what is reputedly one of the finest Victorian deer larders in Scotland.
Fishing
Fishing is available on Loch Morie and on the beats of the Glasa River, a spate river forming the upper watershed of the River Alness. Loch Morie, which is over two miles long, provides wild brown trout, arctic char and the occasional salmon and ferox trout. There are two boats available on Loch Morie plus fishing on four other trout lochs, each with its own boat. Fishing is only from boat or bank (there is no wading). There is fishing for trout and salmon on the estate's six lochs (boats provided) and for salmon on a lower prime beat of the lower River Alness, (averaging 50 salmon and sea trout per annum).
