Arienskill, near the village of Lochailort, is in one of the most beautiful, unspoilt areas of the Highlands. There are mountains, glens, forests, picturesque beaches and the turquoise waters of the Loch Eilt and Loch Ailort. The village is remote with few services, although a local hotel serves meals. The self-catering holiday cottage stands in a sheltered position away from the main road, approached by a rough drive.

Downstairs the open plan layout offers a full kitchen, dining and sitting room with a wood-burning stove. The sunroom has a large picture window from which the views are spectacular.

Freeview satellite TV, DVD and Wi-Fi are available and pets are welcome.

The ground is very steep and wild and it is no coincidence that David Stirling (founder of the SAS) identified it for training of commandos and SOE during the second world war. Some of the old buildings still remain.

This is a very special part of the Highlands and we will try and ensure you have a very full and fun experience.
