Auchmull Lodge was awarded top prize in the Angus Design Awards in 2009. The Auchmull project on the Gannochy Estate at Glen Esk involved an imaginative refurbishment of a 19th-century sporting lodge and its outbuildings on what was once considered to be one of Scotland's premier sporting estates.

Auchmull Lodge now offers four extremely comfortable ensuite bedrooms providing accommodation for up to 8 guests. The let of Auchmull must include the extremely competent local cook, Ida, who knows the lodge and cooks for the owner on a regular basis. This is an arrangement made directly between the tenant and Ida. Approximate charges for her services amount to around £1200.00 per week.

Greenburn Croft, which sleeps four, is also available for rent. It is beautifully refurbished and is situated looking over the river.

Gannochy Estate may also be able to provide a cook dependent on the weeks chosen.

Gannochy Estate offers grouse shooting, deer stalking and salmon fishing on the estate's four mile beat of the River North Esk.
