At one end, an oval dining table seating 12 sits in the elegant curve of the house graced by a striking antique chandelier overhead.
The impressive drawing room is incredibly light and spacious with three fabulous ceiling height windows and a log fire for winter evenings. A cosy study provides a quiet spot and there is a second sitting room complete with log burner. If preferred, the study can also be transformed into a very atmospheric dining room with round dining table for 12 guests.
The house is fully-equipped with all mod-cons including wi fi throughout the ground floor and an ipod-operated, integral sound system, a large flat screen television in the sitting room complete with Sky, surround sound, DVD player and extensive DVD library.
Upstairs the individually-themed bedrooms are light, bright and immaculately presented with sumptuous feather duvets and pillows and crisp Egyptian cotton sheets. The two elegant, principal bedrooms have en suite bathrooms whilst two more contemporary twin bedrooms share the family bathroom.
Stairs to the second floor lead to pretty attic rooms with coombed ceilings and lovely views. A double bedroom has an interlinking door to the adjacent twin bedroom, across the landing is a large bathroom and the landing itself has seating and a television making the accommodation on this floor ideal for a family or for children and a nanny.
On the basement level, there is a table tennis table, as well as a boot room, drying room and the former butler's pantry for guests' dogs.
