Dallas Lodge is a superbly comfortable and attractive family home situated on a 9,000 acre Highland Estate. The oldest part of the house, the semi-circle, was built during 1670's by Sir Robert Gordon of Gordonstoun. Dallas Village, situated a mile from the house, also has historic connections. George Mifflin Dallas, whose family originally came from the Morayshire Dallas, became the founder of Dallas, Texas, and a Vice President of the USA.

The Lodge is surrounded by beautiful gardens which are open regularly to the public under Scotland's Garden Scheme. These feature extensive lawns, a revolving summer-house, a boating pond with islands, plus unique Scots pine woodlands.

Dallas is ideally situated between the rivers Spey and Findhorn (each 20 minutes away by car) and the River Lossie flows through the estate with a private stretch where guests may fish for brown trout, sea trout and the occasional salmon. The house is only 20 minutes from the long sandy beaches and small fishing harbours of the Moray Firth.

Just under an hour away by car is Aviemore and the Cairngorm ski slopes. There are also several excellent golf courses - such as Nairn, Royal Dornoch, Lossiemouth, Elgin, Ballindalloch, Grantown and Boat of Garten - that can easily be played from Dallas.

The Lodge is perfect for golfing, fishing or simply a relaxing family holiday, with tennis, croquet, boating and access to the estate for walks and picnics. Dallas is situated on the famous Speyside Malt Whisky Distillery Trail and there are also numerous historic sites such as Cawdor and Brodie Castles, Culloden Battlefield, Balmoral Castle, Ballindalloch Castle and Loch Ness for an easy day trip.
