Eilean Darach Estate is situated in breathtaking west coast scenery in the Strath of Little Loch Broom and enjoys magnificent views of the An Teallach range. The estate offers a mixture of exciting sporting opportunities over its 6,500 acres, in particular the salmon fishing on the Gruinard River.

The principal fishing is on the Gruinard River and consists of 2 beats out of 3 which alternate on a daily basis - 3 rods per beat, making a total of 6. There is also a boat on Loch na Sealga at the head of the river and sea trout fishing on Loch Ghuibsachain. The Gruinard River is about 12 miles from the house and tenants will require their own 4-wheel drive transport for use on the river track.

The Dundonnell River fishing's consists of 5 pools within short walking distance of the House. A ghillie is available for tenants on the Gruinard River and Loch na Sealga. By arrangement with the ghillie, tenants may also fish Loch Coire Chacrachain, a 50 minute walk from the main road. A copy of instructions for the river will be sent to all fishing tenants and the ghillie will of course normally be able to answer further queries.
