Gordon Castle was historically the principal seat of the Dukes of Gordon and was one of the largest houses ever built in Scotland. Most of the castle was demolished in the 1950s and one wing was converted into a comfortable house in its own right. The Castle underwent significant renovations last year.

The Castle and the immediate area around the Castle is for the exclusive use of guests. The huge gardens provide a tranquil and picturesque area for those who do not wish to venture further afield. A tennis court, bicycles and numerous walks are all available for those who are feeling a bit more energetic.
