Inverinain Lodge is a lovely stone built Scottish country house, providing very comfortable self catering accommodation. Located on the southside of Glenlyon, this lodge enjoys fabulous views of the Perthshire countryside and makes the perfect setting for a relaxed family holiday.
Fully renovated, the Lodge offers very comfortable accommodation for 6 to 8 people. Inverinain enjoys wonderful countryside views and is located on the banks of the River Lyon.
The sitting room has an open fireplace and there are three twin bedrooms upstairs. There is also a games room with (table tennis, dartboard), space for dogs and a garage.
The closest towns are Aberfeldy, 14 miles away and Killin. Golf courses are in abundance at Aberfeldy, Kenmore, Pitlochry, Strathtay and Killin. Glenlyon is a splendid area for sightseeing and exploring.
The Lodge offers very comfortable accommodation for 6 to 8 people.
Comprising:
Ground Floor: A well equipped kitchen/dining room with an archway through to a sitting room with open fireplace. A second sitting room/study which can be converted into a twin bedroom, shower room with WC and an utility room.
First Floor: Three comfortable twin bedrooms (two with basins), bathroom/WC and separate WC.
Adjacent to the lodge is a steading building which has a garage, games room and space for dogs.
The lodge is let as self catered and includes linen and towels, there is a TV monitor with DVD (no TV reception), electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, fridge/freezer and highchair.
Dogs are welcome but only on the ground floor.
Fishing comprises 1.5 miles of single bank fishing on the beautiful River Lyon which is a tributary of the River Tay. The Lyon flows from Loch Lyon through one of the loveliest glens in Scotland. The fishing is for up to 4 salmon rods and for Trout. A 4x4 vehicle is useful but not essential.
The fishing on this stretch is from April/May to the 15th October, Ghillie assistance may be available on payment by the tenant. There is excellent brown trout fishing and it is not uncommon to catch fish of up to 2 to 3lbs.
Occasional hind stalking can be organised - please ask for details.
