For exclusive-use for weddings, private or corporate groups only. On a visit to Kincardine you're looked after by the Laird, Andrew Bradford and his wife Nicky and staff who deliver first-rate hospitality.

Kincardine is one of Scotland's finest Victorian Castles set in 3,000 acres of beautiful family estate in the heart of Aberdeenshire's Royal Deeside. Views from the castle extend up to 42 miles to the Cairngorms. The property has extensive and very pleasant gardens.

The castle is available for a wide variety of corporate functions such as house parties, meetings and seminars, receptions, gourmet dinners and concerts. Visits by private parties of six or more guests are welcome and this is a great venue for weddings. This is also the Laird's family home and guests enjoy the personal hospitality of Andrew and Nicola Bradford who, through their great enjoyment of their beautiful home give you a unique insight into this magical world.

Entertaining Machine!
Kincardine Castle was built as an 'entertaining machine' - a job which it does as well today as it did then. Kincardine is a private house, not an hotel. It does need a minimum number to make the house party concept work and we only accept bookings from groups of six or more.

The special delight of Kincardine is the fact that you are not only entering a fine country house but that you are spending time with the Laird and his family. Your hosts, Andrew and Nicola Bradford are amusing, intelligent conversationalists, musical and cultured. They have great knowledge and experience of life in Kincardine and on the estate and you will certainly learn a great deal about events on a Scottish country estate. Above all, they love entertaining. After a recent 3-day seminar a delegate wrote that while they'd "held these meetings in 5-star exotic locations in the Caribbean and around the world the hospitality at Kincardine eclipsed them all."

On a similar vein after a private group visit a guest wrote: "We shall never forget the extraordinary warmth of your welcome at Kincardine. You two are wonderful hosts and you spoilt us rotten. You have a very special house, and you have the great gift of being able to share it with people you’ve never met before, treat them as friends and make them feel completely at home."

Dining
Food and wines are excellent. Where possible the estate use local produce and the result is magnificent cuisine with the ambience of a graceful dinner party.

Exclusivity
When you select Kincardine you are choosing exclusivity. The only people your party will share the house with are your hosts - relaxation, with privacy and discretion, is guaranteed.

Weddings
A romantic setting whether indoors or out. Beautiful rooms, stunning gardens and grounds and we have a marquee site for the larger event.

The Drawing Room
The Drawing Room is a gloriously bright room - with six windows overlooking the gardens and a great panorama of Royal Deeside.

The Great Hall
This oak-panelled room has great atmosphere. In continuous use for house parties it can also be used for larger banquets seating up to 56. We've held marriages here and many happy receptions and parties.

The Dining Room
The Dining Room table seats 24 maximum but with additional tables this room can seat 42 (summer) or 36 (winter). The walls are hung with seriously lovely family portraits from the last 400 years.

The Board Room
This room, on the ground floor, is easily accessible for wheel-chairs. Bright and airy it provides an excellent quiet place for meetings. We can provide the usual meeting facilities.
