The lodge was built in 1936 and this self-contained wing has lovely accommodation for 4 people (one double and two singles) and can be taken on its own, or be fully integrated with the main house. It is fully equipped to the same high standard as the rest of the Lodge and can be completely self-contained.

Duirinish is a perfect location for holidays - be it for walking, exploring the area, or just for 'getting away from it all' to a secluded and tranquil location for relaxation. The Wing has its own secluded patio area with superb views over the gardens towards the Bealach na Ba and the Applecross peninsula. There is outdoor furniture, perfect for dining outdoors in the evenings and a gas BBQ that can be used.

There is a fabulous organic garden producing herbs, fruit and vegetables that is available free of charge guests during their stay. This years crops are likely to include lettuces, tomatoes, courgettes, potatoes, leeks, brussel sprouts, kale, onions, carrots, turnips, cabbages, salad onions, rhubarb, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, gooseberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, apples, pears, plums……………………

The private woodland and gardens extend to 18 acres. There is a summerhouse that has been built at the highest point of the property, giving panoramic views all round.

Plockton, 2 miles from the Lodge, is an exceptionally picturesque fishing village, and has a pub, general store and other facilities.
