"We had another terrific time at Ardtalla – the staff, particularly Emma and Liam were very good and accepted the challenge of catering for the odd eating habits of some guests with ease. Ronald and Erica very also very kind to us, Ronald gave us a lesson in clay pigeon shooting again and showed tremendous patience! It was a fine way to bring in the New Year again! "We are safely back from an excellent two weeks at Conaglen. They have found themselves a very efficient and competent housekeeper in Diana. She kept everything running very smoothly and was completely unflustered by the arrival of an unexpected guest. They also provided a very enthusiastic cook, Merrell, who was quite a last minute addition but cooked everything we wanted. The weather could have been kinder but the lack of sunshine just meant that we had to climb rather more mountains than we might have anticipated. Just as well, given the amount of food that you consume when you have a cook. Kind regards Anna"
