"We had a wonderful stay at Letham House, it was just amazing and so was the yard we even had a few chance encounters with deers. Barbara and Chris are just the greatest host and hostess, they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived (actually even before we arrived). They were very helpful and accommodating - especially keeping the fireplaces going for us so we had a warm and cozy stay. Not to forget the animals Annie was just the friendliest dog, my little brother really misses her, and Archie was so cute. Letham House is a place we would highly recommend and would love the visit again! Thank you for all your help in the arrangements so that we were able to have such a delightful stay. "We arrived home late yesterday afternoon after spending the best week of out lives at Forter Castle. The wedding was amazing,the food was amazing,the castles recommended chef John Ramsay was so good that the guests asked to meet him before he left and he was I think a bit embarrassed to receive a very enthusiastic round of applause from everyone,the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in and the castle was very warm and very homely.Everyone felt comfortable at Forter straight away and we were all sad to have to leave it.Even the hairdresser,make-up girl,photographer,string quartet and the musicians for the evening after fell in love with the place,they all commented on the castle and the glen and how magical it all was. Please pass our thanks to the owner for providing such a spectacular and comfortable castle for our special event. We are already thinking about when we can return. Thank you, Donna-Maria McCubbin "
