"Enjoyable and memorable just about sum up the week at Carsaig – what a wonderful house in a spectacular setting, we all loved our time there. Gillian (Carsaig housekeeper) couldn’t have been more helpful and was always at hand if we needed her, but never intrusive. We all found it very difficult to leave and would dearly love to return. "We are back safely from our fishing trip at Inshewan. We enjoyed the week and we caught 6 fish and lost seven - the Beats were very attractive and well maintained and we were particularly impressed by the Hut and facilities. Having a proper toilet and little kitchen with running water was a great bonus particularly as we had a non-fisher in our party! Colin Gibbs the owner was most helpful. Kind regards."

"We have had a most delightful short break at the Tulchan and much appreciate all your help. Craig and Matt were most welcoming and Matt kindly 'lifted' us up the hill on Tuesday which allowed us the oppotunity to walk for miles in perfect weather on the high tops; very welcome for ageing bones! Debs looked after us very well and made us feel most comfortable. We were particularly touched by Florian's calls and please would you convey our thanks to him for what was a most interesting and indeed nostalgic experience - as to be expected, since my last association almost 60 years ago much had changed, both inside the Lodge and its environs, and all for the better - but the essence of the Tulchan still remains as captivating and delightful as ever. Again my thanks and sometime we'll drop into to say 'hello' ! With best regards."
