"We are safely back from an excellent two weeks at Conaglen. They have found themselves a very efficient and competent housekeeper in Diana. She kept everything running very smoothly and was completely unflustered by the arrival of an unexpected guest. They also provided a very enthusiastic cook, Merrell, who was quite a last minute addition but cooked everything we wanted. The weather could have been kinder but the lack of sunshine just meant that we had to climb rather more mountains than we might have anticipated. Just as well, given the amount of food that you consume when you have a cook. Kind regards Anna"

"Everyone had a FANTASTIC time! They were so happy about the whole trip and just couldn’t believe how fantastic it was. There was mention that is was ‘the highlight of the year’. All the arrangements were faultless… they said the accommodation, food, wine, and service was excellent! They also thought Susan was absolutely delightful – so helpful, hospitable, kind, and she far exceeded their expectations with the warm welcome they received at the estate, which continued right throughout their stay. They were also very impressed with all the attention to detail the staff made just to make them feel extra special. ""My family and I had a truly wonderful – indeed, special – time at Carsaig at the beginning of June. Thank you for the recommendation. Carsaig is an extraordinary experience. My three daughters had an extraordinary time Set amongst dramatic cliffs, beach and surrounding mountain peaks, the house is secluded and exposed to nature. The location is indeed remote and should appeal to those seeking peacefulness, hikes and lack of exposure to people. I was there with 3 children, aged 10, 10 and 11. All three spent hours outside, exploring, climbing, walking and playing in the rock pools on the beach. The house is beautifully appointed and very well maintained. Joy Roberts, the housekeeper, was a delight as was her husband. It has been well thought out and finished to a very high standard of quality and comfort. No detail has been spared.This house is not suitable for anybody seeking the buzz of a town or a city. But for anybody wishing to enjoy nature, walking, local islands and fresh air, then Carsaig will satisfy their need." Very Best Andrew "
