We all enjoyed the house and the location. The house is spacious and full of character. The Stuarts are relaxed hosts and did not seem to mind the noise and disturbance generated by children, dogs and over-excited adults. A great holiday for our family and freinds, capped by great catering by Jill Gosney.
We all had a really enjoyable stay even though the weather was not very kind!
Sandra and her indoor staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble, the house was spotlessly clean on our arrival and also every day. Claire and Casper were both accomplished cooks and the meals were to die for. We had a well known "cordon bleu" cook in our party and even he with his high standards was very impressed with the quality of the cooking and the presentation of the food.
The outside staff Ross, Ian and Martin were extremely helpful showing us the best walks and the best stretches of the river to fish. I believe the fishing is underrated in Conaglen's website as we caught 3 salmon and a large number of sea and brown trout and were all very satisfied with the availability of a range of fishing to suit everyone.
We have these "old friends" reunions every three years and last one was held in Kenya and the time before a week in Ireland and I think we all have high expectations and standards, both of which were surpassed by our stay at Conaglen and we all agree that we will definitely be back in the near future.

Aldourie far exceeded our expectations. The house is, of course, remarkable. But the service and food provided by Lavinia and Richard were what made our stay so memorable. We will be back!

We had a very good time at the Lodge. The arrangements at the Lodge were perfect. Marie and her team do a fabulous job and are extremely cooperative with any requests we make. Scott was great also. He took us stalking, spent an afternoon doing some target shooting with the children and was very friendly and great fun.
The fishing was a little disappointing (two fish over the whole week) but ok.
It was very nice to have the boat on the loch.
You have a very good team there. Could not be more helpful, efficient and friendly.
We had a great time. The staff in the house were extremely kind, and the cook is absolutely first rate.
We had a wonderful time, only wish we had been staying for the week. The lodge was fantastic, comfortable but with lots of character and a stunning location. The remote location despite the long drive in, really adds to the whole Bruar experience. The lodge was spotlessly clean, bags of hot water and the heating was on for our arrival. The fire was laid and there were plenty of logs and coal. The kitchen facilities, gas range, fridges, freezers etc were very good and our cook, Hugo MacManaway from Lovat, did a great job. We met Dominic as we were leaving yesterday (he had just arrived back from holiday), he was in great form and I am sure would be a great asset and fabulous company on a sporting break. We all thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, and hopefully you will get some future business from our guests, we had lots of questions about how to find similar locations.
We had a wonderful time at Dairsie and enjoyed the opportunity to meet and visit with the owner on Friday. I’m sure we will be looking to rent the property again in the future (and perhaps some of the others you have listed). Many thanks for all your assistance.
We had a truly wonderful time. Our six couples arrived to a warm welcome by our hosts who ensured we had absolutely everything we needed. The house itself, although imposing from the outside has a warm, welcoming ambiance inside and we immediately appreciated the patina of a family home. It is beautifully furnished and had space for us to enjoy dining together, laughing together and yet space enough to seek individual peace and quiet when a quiet corner was desired.
As the weather improved so too did our appetite to explore the extensive grounds which was rewarded by frequent sightings of deer, hares and song birds and even the sound of the cuckoo.
Although the House appeared in most respects to be deep in the countryside, facilities and amenities were all close to hand; from the essential grocery stores to the equally important restaurants and shops.
We feel privileged to have enjoyed the special warmth and hospitality of Finnich Malise and are looking forward to returning at the very next opportunity, be it as a couple or the complete group.
Our stay at Kinlochmoidart was very nice, it was just a shame we couldn't stay longer. The Coach House was very comfortable, even for the couple who slept in the upper beds who had to scale the ladder
