Langwell Estate is set in some of the most stunning west coast scenery looking out over the Assynt mountains to the west. The estate is secluded and is situated just 15 minutes drive north of Ullapool where you have access to all facilities and beaches as well as a golf course. The coastline is spectacular as are the beaches or you can take advantage of sea trips to the Summer Isles and Handa Island - a very special bird sanctuary.

The estate extends to around 17,000 acres where you will have every opportunity to see red deer, eagles, and a variety of other wildlife. Salmon fishing is available on the River Canaird, a typical west coast spate river and there are numerous hill lochs on the estate offering wild brown trout fishing.

Challenging red deer stalking is available with Langwell Lodge from August for one rifle. Later on in the season two rifles can be accommodated. Langwell offers classic west coast stalking and the estate cull around 35 stags a year.

There are two beautiful gardens created around the burns that tumble down the hillside and a great variety of species of trees and plants which provide a delight of colour through the growing year.

In addition to the Lodge, which sleeps 14, plus accommodation for a cook, there is Glen Cottage which is rented separately without sport. The cottage sleeps 6 and enjoys utter seclusion by the river.
